Year 3 became “Historians” yesterday and were given jigsaw pieces of a photo. They had to use the skill of “observing” to be able to try and make assumptions and ask questions to work out what event the photo was of. They worked collaboratively to do this and at the end of the task made an analysis of the photo as a group.IMG_3357 IMG_3358 IMG_3359 IMG_3360 IMG_3362 IMG_3363 IMG_3364 IMG_3368

Literature festival

At the Literature festival I learned that it takes a long time to make a picture book. I also learned that no one can’t be a perfect author or illustrator. The literature festival also taught me that you can draw anything if you try hard. I learned that poetry can also be nursery rhymes. I learned spoonerisms can be great fun.
