Today in Maths we made a kaleidoscope using clear plastic, foil, cardboard and felt pens. First Mrs Russell told us how to make them so we all went and got a piece of cardboard and felt pens to draw a pattern. After we drew the pattern we went and got an A4 piece of cardboard, an A4 piece of foil and an A4 piece of clear plastic. Then we all folded the cardboard in half and half again. Next we drew lines on the folds of the cardboard and put the cardboard on the top, the foil in the middle and the clear plastic on the bottom. Then we folded everything on the lines and sticky taped it all together. Then the class played around with their kaleidoscopes.
We had a fantastic time making the kaleidoscopes.
